Vision Statement

Our vision is to support Parish youth ministry with affordable area gatherings that let youth experience larger church and community. Through the gatherings we will nurture the entire person and offer experiences for spiritual growth so individuals can strengthen their relationship with Christ. Through the gatherings leadership training is provided for youth, young adults, adults in the form of Coordinators/team members for the gatherings.

"To Protect & Heal Policy"

Any member of a TEC (Teens Encounter Christ) retreat must be in compliance with the diocesan

policy "To Protect & Heal". A TEC Team Member is considered "High Responsibility" and as

such is required to fulfill the following components of the policy.


High Level Responsibility:

Must undergo a BCI background screening.  A FBI screening is also required for individuals who have resided outside Ohio within the past five years.

Must complete online training at:
Must be recertified in Protecting Youth every five years.
Must sign the Expectations Form, which the employer will keep on file.


Every five years thereafter, the volunteer must sign the Expectations Form again.

Please note: You must request a code from the Compliance Officer at the Catholic Center before taking this online training.

Fingerprinting may be done at the Pastoral Center (419-244-6711). Please call for an appointment.
